SATURDAY 7 FEBRUARY 2009 IN THE DEVONPARK
There was 13 players who attended this week.
SINGLES TOURNAMENT
The singles tournament results were as follows
Semi-final 1 Steven Rodgers (Pirries ‘A’) beat Jason Bain (Devonpark ‘A’) 2 -0
Semi-final 2 John Docherty (Red Lion) beat Neil Paterson (Weirs) 2 - 0
The final was won by John Docherty who beat Steven Rodgers 2 - 1
In the tournament there was 5 scores between 120 & 139, 4 x140’s. Highest checkout went to Neil Paterson with a 94.
ROUND ROBIN LEAGUE
This saw some high scores being thrown again, 16 x 120-139, 13 x 140+’s there was three 180’s two from Jamie Robb and one from Greg Manzies. Jamie Robb, also had one 18 dart, one 19 dart and two 20 dart legs.
Dion McCusker had the highest score of the day apart from the 180’s with a superb 145 against David Clark.
The next game is Saturday 28 February 2009 in Devonpark 12.30pm for 13.00.
As can be seen from the table below there is only five points between the top four players. Congratulations must be given to all the players, as I can see an improvement in their darts also their board marking. The seniors should look out next season as there is some really good players coming through.
